Trailblazer RV

Since January 2015, I have been employed by trailblazers RV. From being a junior Designer and learning how to design various of different components through to manufacturing, I have now attained a Lead Design Role in the company. Through my years or experience designing small spaces has helped me to develop a great depth in accuracy in my work as well as supplying manufacturing with Engineering Drawing sets of fabrication. Client liaison is key when working in a company which design custom camper van. Through out the design project clients are constantly kept in the loop in the design process to make sure the client’s expectation are met.

We are designed a new pop up caravan for mass production. The main objective of this project is to produce an aerodynamic, lightweight model using sustainable methods and materials. In collaboration with the design team I have brainstormed and researched small space functionality to produce concept drawings and computer models. These drawings encompassed alternative forms for the exterior shape to the interior fittings and design. This includes the designed process of concepts generation through to prototyping, and developing the concept in Solidworks and pursuing the product throughout production.

My Job is
